Privacy Policy

We collect information in three ways:

• What you send us. When you send a message, ask about a car, request a delivery estimate or start a purchase, we collect what you enter — usually your name, phone number, email address, state or ZIP code, the car you're asking about and your message.
• What a purchase requires. If you buy a car, we collect what the paperwork needs, such as your mailing and delivery address and the details for the bill of sale, title and registration.
• What your browser tells us. Like most websites, ours records technical information when you visit — see Cookies and analytics.

We ask only for what we need, and you never need an account to use this site.

When you send a form on this site — a message, a question about a car, a delivery quote or a purchase request — what you enter is delivered straight to our sales team, so a person can read it and reply. Forms are delivered through a private business messaging channel (Telegram) and are read only by the people at Uniques Auto Salon who handle sales.

We use what you send to answer your question, prepare quotes and, if you decide to buy, complete the sale and delivery. Where it's needed to answer your request — a transport quote, for example — we may pass the relevant details, such as your ZIP code, to the company doing that work, for that purpose only.

If you buy from us, we keep the records of the sale — the bill of sale, title and registration paperwork, delivery details and our messages with you — for as long as the law requires, and as long as we need them to honor the 14-day buy-back and the 30-day mechanical warranty.

Payment is made by wire transfer, ACH transfer or cashier's check, through the banks involved. This website doesn't take payments and never asks for bank or card numbers. If you apply for financing, your application goes to the financing partner you apply with and is handled under their privacy policy.

We contact you about the request you sent us or the car you're buying — nothing else. We won't add you to a mailing list or send you promotional messages unless you ask us to, for example to hear when a certain kind of car comes in.

If you agree to receive text messages from us, we use your mobile number and consent only to text you about your inquiry or purchase. You can ask us to stop calling, texting or emailing at any time — reply to our message or call +1 (208) 271-9759.

From time to time we may invite customers to answer a short survey or take part in a promotion. Taking part is always voluntary, and you choose what to share.

If you refer a friend to us and give us their name and contact details, we use them only to reach out to that person on your behalf.

Our site uses cookies — small files your browser stores — and similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, to keep the site working and to understand how it's used.

We use Google Tag Manager to load and manage the measurement tools on this site. Those tools, including the Meta pixel described below, may set cookies and record things like the pages you view, the cars you look at, the device and browser you use and the page that sent you here.

Our servers also log the date and time of each visit, your browser type, the pages you request and your IP address. We use these logs to run and secure the site.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them; some measurement won't.

We use the Meta pixel and Meta's Conversions API — the tools Meta provides for advertising on Facebook and Instagram — to measure and improve our ads.

The pixel runs in your browser and tells Meta about activity on this site: that a page was viewed, a car's page was opened or a form was sent. The Conversions API reports the same events from our server, so they're counted even when a browser blocks the pixel.

With these events we share your IP address, your browser type, Meta's cookie identifiers and a random ID stored in your browser. After you send a form, we may also share the email address, phone number, name and state you entered — converted on our server into an unreadable code (hashed) before they're sent. Your browser keeps those contact details on your device so later visits can be matched too; clearing this site's data in your browser removes them. The message you write is not shared with Meta.

Meta handles this information under its own Privacy Policy. You can control how your activity is used for ads in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only as described in this policy:

• Service providers that run parts of the business for us — website hosting, the messaging channel that delivers our forms, and the measurement and advertising tools described above — only as they need it to do that work.
• The transport company delivering a car you've bought, which needs your name, phone number and delivery address.
• A financing partner, if you apply for financing.
• Government agencies, for title and registration, as the sale requires.
• Anyone we're required to share it with by law — for example, in response to a court order or subpoena.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category above and will not be shared with any third party.

• Messages: we send promotional messages only if you ask for them, and you can opt out at any time.
• Cookies: block or delete them in your browser settings, or clear this site's data.
• Ads: adjust how Meta uses your activity in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.
• Your information: ask us to correct or delete what we hold — see the next section.

If your details change, or you'd like us to correct or delete what we hold about you, call +1 (208) 271-9759 or email sales@uniquesautosalon.us. We'll confirm it's you, then take care of it. Some records — a bill of sale, for example — we're required by law to keep.

We take reasonable precautions to protect your information. The site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, forms travel encrypted, and access to customer information is limited to the people who need it. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don't send bank or card details through our forms or by email.

Our site links to sites we don't run, such as Google Maps. We're not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please read the privacy policy of any site you visit from ours.

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Our Terms of Service cover the rest of how this site works.
